Memory Care

Welcome to our Memory Care Program at Ten Broeck where we make every day a meaningful and purposeful day. Our Memory Care Unit Manager is a CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) who together with our amazing team, provides compassionate and specialized care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments.

With a focus on dignity, respect, and individualized attention, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each resident entrusted to our care. We take the time to understand each resident's preferences, interests, and life history, tailoring our approach to meet their specific needs. We focus on active lifestyles for everyone.

Our specialty trained staff members provide 24-hour supervision in a secure environment to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents. Our facility features secure entrances and exits, as well as monitored living areas to prevent eloping and ensure security.

Complementary & Alternative Medicine

The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine defines CAM as a “group of diverse medial and healthcare systems, practices and products that are not generally considered part of conventional medicine.” Using CAM in conjunction with conventional medicine provides many benefits to our residents.

CAM practices include spiritual, emotional, personal energy and physical health techniques that often focus on prevention. At Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing our caregivers are trained to implement techniques- such as the usage of essential oils- in their day to day care.
